I met my husband, Michael in the last place I ever expected to find love let alone the man I would marry! I met him in Cancun, Mexico. I went was there with a few friends from college during Memorial Day Weekend. I was single, and very happy about it, and meeting guys was the furthest thing from my mind. I remember getting to the hotel where we were staying and seeing a couple getting married and I couldn't' help but think You don't marry someone you met in Cancun!"

Well, I guess I jinxed myself, because a few hours later, I met my future husband at that very same hotel.

We hit it off and we ended up having a long distance relationship from where he lived in NY and where I lived in Chicago.
