Maggots and Carcasses in Purina Puppy Food from Petsmart

Worms, maggots, cacoons and carcasses found in Purina Beneful puppy food. Two sick dogs and Purina refuses to take ownership of incident. Purina's official response is "once it leaves our building it is no longer our responsibility" & "if any vet bills come as a result of this issue we can not be held responsible".

I dont know about the regulations over there but pet food regs are VERY strict over here in some areas stricter than human food processing!

Strange i see it commented that purina is a low end product, over here in the UK it is the opposite its an expensive high end pet food product... Strange how they can produce different qualities in dif countries!

Same thing happened to me with two different type of Purina brands... One I bought and opened and some moths flew out of it disgusting... No more Purina for my kitty.

i've been finding the exacte same worms inside the kibble itself ....i feed my dogs "Purina" too!!!! what sort of treatment did this mans' dogs need to get better?

Beneful is s*** to start with....if you only knew what made up those little bits of kibble you would be begging for maggots
