博多金獅子太鼓 (Hakata Kinjishi "Golden Lion" Taiko) is a group that performs a style of drumming which derived from the music used for the Lion Dance and traditional Hakata Top spinning act. The drumming became independent from the two acts, and The Golden Lion Taiko Group was established by the former Mr. Jyuraku Chikushi. Mr. Chikushi's son, Jyuraku (Jr.) took on this style of Taiko drumming, and is now performing with his sister, Syouraku. Presently, both Jyuraku Chikushi (Jr.) and sister, Syouraku Chikushi, lead this tradition.

Bizarre yes... a cheap copy is a boring, uninspired thing. BUT, to perfectly mimic something so precisely... well, that's an art form in its own right. He's like a celebrity impersonator for the taiko world, lol.

I was just thinking the same thing - the set up of the kit, the way he raises his shoulders when he does the roll on the shime at the beginning, the outfit...kinda bizarre
