For part of his graduation requirements to receive a KA diploma in conducting, Robert Kopf put together a chamber choir of students from the Trossingen Musikhochschule to sing some of his favorite a cappella choral works for a concert in July, 2009. Here is one of the rehearsals with about 80% of us there, filmed in the familiar room 164 of the Musikhochschule (where all the conducting classes take place).
The song is Lobt Gott getrost mit singen by Adam Gumpelzhaimer (1559-1625, sometimes spelled Gumpelzheimer). Robert currently teaches music and directs choir in a high school in Villingen, Germany, and always brought lots of snacks to rehearsal. He's a very skilled director and a wonderful person.
