This video shows how to use the IDChamp [13.56MHz] high frequency RFID reader with a BlueSnap HID dongle from Serialio.com to read these RFID tags into the Notepad app on the iPad.
Both the IDChamp RFID reader, and BlueSnap-HID dongle, are powered by the mobile power pack. We turn on the power and the BlueSnap will make a Bluetooth connection with the iPad, the connection can be confirmed when the BlueSnap connection LED is on steady.
Then we simply tap where we want the data to be typed and scan the RFID tags.
This same solutions works for all iPad and iPhone apps. For example we will launch the Safari browser, and go to Restock.com List-in-Hand Mobile List site, then we tap where we want to scan the tags, and the data is posted to the cursor location on the web page.
For more information about the solution shown in this video, as well as many other innovative mobile wireless RFID and Barcode scanning solutions for hundreds of models of mobile devices, please contact Serialio.com. Thank you for watching.
