It's a real delight watching children swaying and making hand movements to match the rhythm of a song. An interactive and funny children's song keeps them engaged and entertained. In this Pottery Barn Kids video, Children's Singer Andy Z shows us how to sing an action song called 'Sticky Bubblegum' and use their imagination and hand motions.
Andy Z takes the kids on a little adventurous trip to Andy Land. He shows how to use their imagination and make hand motions while singing. This children's song is about bubblegum and he wants kids to imagine that they are trying to take treat out of the wrapper and then clap to find out that the treat is sticky. He then starts with the Sticky Bubblegum song and shows us how to enact this action song.
Kids are supposed to imagine as if their hands are stuck to various parts of their face. While doing so, they can also make funny voices and expressions. He also wants kids to pretend that the bubblegum is no longer sticky and it can be rolled into a big ball. Andy tells kids to eat the big ball and then sings the Sticky Bubblegum song in a funny way because their mouths are filled with bubblegum. Then he blows a large bubble with his ball of bubblegum and when it bursts, it sticks to their face. Finally, he tells them to sneeze out the bubblegum.
This action song is a great way to help your children acquire rhythm and develop motor skills.
