Miniature Schnauzers Puppies at Play 38 days old!

2 Salt & Pepper and 2 White Schanuzers at play after their 1st haircut. we are not breeders, out two dogs got together on accident. we kept two puppies and gave the others to family.

Are you a breeder? If so, where are you located? I had a mini growing up and when I got married and moved away she stayed with my parents. My hubby and I plan on getting one later this year,and we want a white one but we're having a hard time finding breeders!

One silly question. I am definitely going to get me one schnauser (S&P preferably) in the future but the question is: "why this extremely ugly hair trimming on the dog"? Why not cut it lower?

This is a standard schnauzer cut. they look fuzzy because this is puppy hair.

Tail docking is unjustified mutilation to the spine, muscles, tendons, and 7 pairs of highly sensitive nerves. There are 3 reasons people give for it:

1.To avoid tail damage in working dogs who hunt through vegetation: So to prevent it from getting damaged, you damage it? Brilliant. Tail injuries occur in < 0.5% of working dogs.

2.The hair can be fouled by feces: Can feces not be removed by soap & water?

3.To maintain breed standards: Change the standards. Docking is banned in 60% of the world.

@malinmajsan It depends how you get their tail clipped...it you use a eleastic and tie it around their tail it will fall off eventually..and it does not hurt the dog. If you do it..the painful way of stitching the tail back together it;s likely illegal like in my province.

White ones can be coloured to any colour with hair dyes. I will be getting my puppy very soon
