How to fit a Blackout Shutter

How to install a Luxaflex blackout blinds into a medium shutter frame that has already been fitted.

Blackout blinds with keep the light out and reduce the noise. I often get asked about sound proof shutters and this is one of the options I recommend.

Fitting a separate blind with side guiding allows you to split the cost when ordering shutters.

However, there is now a new option to order pre-fitted blackout blinds with your shutters, this is slightly cheaper and even easier to fit.

Note - You will need a medium 60mm or 64mm deep shutter frame to fit you blinds and side guiding too.
