ഈ ഇടതുപക്ഷ പ്രസ്ഥാനം ഒരു ഒളിപ്രസ്ഥാനമായിരുന്ന കാലത്ത്, ഞാന്‍ മനസ്സിലാക്കിയിരുന്നിടത്തോളം, ഇത്രമാത്രം ഒരു ലൈംഗികതയില്‍, ആ ഒളിവിന്റെ സുഖത്തില്‍, അതിന്റെ മറവില്‍ ഇത്രമാത്രം ലൈഗികതയിലൂടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചിരുന്ന മറ്റൊരു പ്രസ്ഥാനം ഉണ്ടോ എന്ന് സംശയിക്കണം. ഒരു പക്ഷെ കേരളത്തിലെ ഒരുപക്ഷെ ഏറ്റവും ലൈംഗികതയില്‍ അടിയുറച്ച ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രസ്ഥാനമാണ് ഇടതുപക്ഷ പ്രസ്ഥാനം" ആ രാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രസ്ഥാനമാണ് ഇന്ന് ഇത്ര ഭീകരമായിട്ടുള്ള സങ്കുജിതത്വത്തിലേക്ക് ഒരു സ്ത്രീയെയും പുരുഷനെയും ഒന്നിച്ചു കണ്ടാല്‍ സംശയിക്കണം എന്ന സങ്കുജിതത്വത്തിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങി വന്നിരിക്കുന്നത് (മഞ്ചേരിയിലെ മുള്ളമ്പാറയില്‍ ഉണ്ണിത്താനെയും സ്ത്രീയെയും നാട്ടുകാര്‍ പാതി രാത്രിയില്‍ പിടിച്ചു പോലീസില്‍ എല്പിച്ചതിനെ പരാമര്‍ശിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞത്.)
