This is definitely counterstrain technique, because the patients are in position of greatest ease.
Unfortunately, Dr. Domesticus would get dinged on his boards because he isn't holding the position for 90 seconds before returning to normal.

This cat knows more manipulation than most DOs do. There are some really good DOs for manipulation but there are not many.
