@contour157 You also must realize that this interview took place many years ago back during the early to mid 1980s. I remember watching this as a kid. This was WAY before JYD's death. Hayes didn't mean anything by what he said. It was just a part of the act at that time. The Freebirds & JYD had a brutal fued for many years. They hated Ted Dibiase even more because he was best friends with JYD.

aw man.. he mentioned "Your wife and your baby".. and his "baby" daughter graduated from High School ..JYD attended the graduation and was driving home when he fell asleep and died in a car crash..
