Elephas maximus

The Indian elephant.. this tusker is enjoying a shower.. (video taken from punnathur kotta/aana kotta, guruvayoor). he is in a frantic period now, in malayalam "madam". this is the time when domesticated elephants are send back to forest for mating. or sent to strong cages, because in this period he used to get violent very easily. Look at the chains on his fore and hind limbs..
any way its a very exciting seen to watch for a long time..
