Terence Steven McQueen was born in 1930 in Indiana (United States).
Rebellious, Hard, Lonely, these are the adjectives with which you can describe the personality of this extraordinary actor. In a nutshell, all this is summed up in one word: "Cool". Never knew his father abandoned him when he had six months and his mother gave him to an uncle, with whom he spent his childhood and adolescence. All this marks the character of young Steve, who had to face the harshness of life. Like all the rebels of American cinema (Clift, Brando, Dean, Newman), he attended the famous Actor's Studio.
Debuted on Broadway, with A Hat Full of Rain.
The first happened it was on TV thanks to the series Wanted: Dead or Alive.
In 1960 his first major role in the film "The Magnificent Seven", where he was able to compete with already established players like Yul Brynner. Thanks to movies like "The Great Escape", "The Cincinnati Kid", "Bullitt" and "The Thomas Crown Affair", McQueen became a star of first magnitude.
Unforgettable are his performances in "Papillon", "The Getaway".
His great passion cars races.
He died of cancer in 1980 in Mexico.

The films included are:
- The Magnificent Seven
- The Great Escape
- The Cincinnati Kid
- The Sand Pebbles
- The Thomas Crown Affair
- Bullitt
- The Getaway
- Papillon
