Miri Piri Academy is a unique school that adopts the yogic concept of integrating the mind, body and spirit through a specialized program that balances each of these components to educate the whole person. Our mission is to train the future leaders, teachers and healers of the world through rigorous discipline, quality academics and a strong sense of self. By developing a world class academic program and offering opportunities for spiritual and personal expansion, Miri Piri Academy strives to become the model school for the Aquarian Age.

The school was founded in 1997 by Siri Singh Sahib Bhai Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogi Ji. He is the master and visionary whose philosophy of education serves as the foundation of every program and activity at the school. The school is named after Guru Hargobind's two swords, Miri and Piri. These swords represent the mastery of both temporal and spiritual worlds. The ideal of the warrior/saint is central to "Miri Piri" philosophy, and a cornerstone of spiritual awareness. Our emphasis on the values of kindness, courage, discipline and commitment form a strong base for the growth and development of our students.

Miri Piri Academy is an ever growing international family. Our students learn to value the diversity of people, cultures and ecosystems. The current student body of 105 represents 13 countries and 8 languages. While our diversity is honored, the curricular programs and activities are based on the teachings of the Sikh Gurus, and emphasize the four pillars of the Sikh lifestyle; Bana, Bani, Simran and Seva.

  • It's very inspiring to see Non-Panjabi Sikhs embracing Sikhism. They have done more for Sikhism, than those that are brought up as Sikhs! There are no barriers, no races, no castes and no restrictions in Sikhi, as you all well know!

    Long may Sikhi prosper!

  • It is not 'our' religion. It's for man kind. I do question why some of the children had the title Guru. That is wrong and Guruship is complete, no-one can commence that. Very inspiring video however
