How sad that NBC is so utterly ignorant to believe what IBM says is an improvement in the retirement plan for employees. Most comical was the lie that this program will be in place "forever" ... just like they told us the pension plan was for 50+ years.
This free financial planning also isn't new - I can recall a useless meeting in mid '90s and all you got was a boiler plate plan with your numbers plugged in. Nothing new - just the same, screw the employees one more time!
Another bullshit corporate move to save money. Great now they gave these poor fools 401k programs that pay out much less than a traditonal pension fund and if you don't manage them right they run out of money. The 401k program was the worst thing ever to happen to the american worker. If a undefined pesion progam is managed right it is much cheaper to run than a 401k which is full of fees and take great knowledge to run.
This guy is a SOB. ALL IBM execs are SOB's fuk IBM and USA also.
