1999 Mazda Miata, supercharged, 200RWHP

Okay hang out until the end of the video and listen to that glorious, unmistakable, supercharger whine! For some reason that I don't understand, you hardly ever see a supercharger on a 4-cylinder engine. Oh sure you see turbocharging on them all the time but a supercharger? Why is this--does anyone know? Anyways kudos to this driver and his driver's car; what a sick-ass Miata: double the stock horsepower! (You can also see the camera man's pitiful little Miata in this video too :) Enjoy.

@firefoxmoz v8 swap adds at minimum another 300kg to the kerb weight, to say the MX5 is less than 1,000kg to start is a massive difference. It makes the MX5 weigh the same as a family saloon, not the light nimble roadster it is supposed to be.

this is a sick video you have to have skill to rig you miata like that because its def not how most ppl set up there supercharger. looked kinda niga rigged but still 200hp on a tiny lil roadster.. zoom zoom

is it possible to add A universal supercharger on my 08 lancer cvt 2.0l 4 cylinder 4b11 motor. I know A turbo goes good with 4 cylinder engines because A supercharger is way safer, reliable, less maintanance, instant power, no turbo lag so honestly I rather go with a supercharger then turbo for the cost.

When you consider that this supercharger only adds 18lbs tobthe passenger side, a v8 isnt really comparable especially since you can get pulleys for this that can make over 300hp
