It saddens me that Romania was once the the royalty of gymnastics but in the present quad they aren't as strong :( and it doesn't even help that Ana Porgras retired soo sad..

Romania has had a dominant gymnastics program. Do people not remember athens and sydney where they won team gold, the AA in sydney, event finals in athens, do you not remember Nadia Comaneci? who dominated back in Montreal. Romania has had more success that the USA early on.

You can talk about D score or W score ( ;) ) all day long! FACT IS Sandra is way better than little US ball named this time Shawn. That I have seen live in 2008 and again in this video. And in 2004 in Athens with Catalina Ponor....and again in 2000 with Andreea Raducan, even you fought so hard to take her medal...and again will see this in 2012 in London! How many times do you need to kick your asses to understand that even you train your gymnasts into a Marine base you'll never beat us?

I think I fell in love with Cheng Fei all over again here. She's so genuinely happy and gracious for Sandra's win. I don't think I've seen a more sincere congratulations from a competitor in gymnastics... ever.
