Am just on page 340 or so...trying to make it last as long as possible 'cos I KNOW that I won't find a book this good any time soon!

This book came to me at a perfect time. My wife was going through chemo and there was a lot of down time for me . This book filled my time and my head while I waited for my bride of 47 years. thanks Bill

I agree - a really great book, so interesting, entertaining & funny too.
It ignites your interest in the world around you.
If I;d read this as a teenager I might have appreciated studying science a lot more.

I started to struggle half way through the book so got the audio to help me out, Bill Bryson dictates the audios which is great,
