"Now what was it you wanted to talk about?" Miley devilishly asked running her fingers up and down Kevins thigh.
"Well-um...Miley... You are aware that I am a senior correct?" Kevin stuttered backing away from Mileys flirtatious signs.
"Yes I do realize it."
"Well than you do know that I will be going off to college next year. I wont be in this town..." Kevin slowly explained.
"So whats your point?" Miley asked.
"Well, I- I- think that its time that I had a talk with you..."
"No, no I know what youre going to say... no, Kevin Jameson... I will not be dumped!" Miley yelled and ran out of sight before Kevin could get another word in.

After school, Demi met Joe by the flag pole just as they had promised.
"You ready?" Joe asked.
"Sure. Oh, hey Nick?"
"Yeah?" he said adjusting his backpack strap.
"Tell mom that Im spending the afternoon with Joe and Sel has dance..."
"Kay." Nick walked off. "Seeya when you get home."
"So... where will you be taking me?"
"I was thinking you and me at the Coffee Bean Palace right now!"
"Ooh, that sounds delightful... lets go!"
"Sine when are you so popper?" Joe joked as he opened his door for Demi to hop in.
"Since I started dating a guy with manners." Demi replied fastening her seatbelt.
"Haha..."

"What do you recommend Joe?"
"I'll surprise you... go save me a seat please..." Joe whispered.
Joe came to the table with two piping cups of surprise and a large blueberry muffin.
"What is it?"
"Just try it. Its my favorite."
Demi took a sip of the steaming liquid. "Mmm... What is it... I taste Carmel... coffee, vanilla..."
"Its Columbian Vanilla Bean Coffee with Carmel and on top is whipped cream with a little Cinnamon sprinkled on top." Joe explained taking a sip of his drink.
"Well its delicious, I think its my new favorite."
"Thats good, see I told you it was awesome!"
"You were right!" Demi admitted. "So.." she sighed. "anything new?"
"Me? It'd be nice to pass Geometry..." Joe rolled his eyes.
"Well I can help you... Im in Geo too..."
"No way... you? Youre just a freshman..." Joe teased.
"No, I was in Accelerated Math in 6, pre-Al in 7, and Algebra in 8. So now Im in Geo as a freshman... just ask Sel and Nick, theyre in the same boat."
"Woah... my girl friend is smarter than me..." Joe was amazed.
"Smarter than I..." Demi corrected.
"UH! Nerd!!!" Joe smiled.
"JERK!" Demi rolled her eyes.
"HEY! I am no JERK!!!"

"Hey, right on time..." Nate greeted Selena opening the café door for her.
"Thanks."
Nate motioned for her to sit down at a cute, little table by the window. Selena sat down and Nate sat across from her. He smiled and shook his head.
"What?"
"Nothing, youre cheeks are red... I think its cute." Nate smiled
"Well I just came from dance... we work hard..."
"Thats nice." Nate said.
"OK.. I have to admit something..."
"Yeah?" Nate looked up.
"I just wanted to say that youre not that mysterious little second grader who used to stare at me are you?"
"Nope."
"Youve just changed so much.. I mean what happened to your hair... its so dark... and you certainly dress differently..."
"Well it got darker as I got older, but it was like a mix between dirty blonde and brown, so I just dyed it brown.." Nate admitted also.
"And another thing..." Selena hesitated.
"Yeah?"
"If Im going to date you, you have to promise me youre gonna start trying... dont skip as much... time to start taking high school seriously... I want to you graduate with us... dont be left behind... as I girlfriend, I care..."
"Oh, OK.. for you, anything." Nate smiled.
"OK, great. And if you need any help, just ask. Id be happy to help!" Selena put her hand in Nates and smiled.
"Thanks."
