The kenya national union of teachers (knut) is now asking the tsc to remit teachers salary directly to avoid delays and withholding of teachers monies by third party deductions at the end of every month. Knut secretary general david okuta says the question of teachers salaries being sent through the ministry of education must cease forthwith.

No disrespect to the teaching profession but every time we have the teacher's union in front of us, it's all about more, more, more; we want more. How about sharing some of the ideas you have about improving the education system? How about the community work you do, the work you do?
