  • Who's the politician which stayed strong to his beliefs and promisses in the last 20 years?

    That's right: RON PAUL 2012.

  • Do u really think calling obama will stop this bill? Idiots. He's the one who designed it and signed it like a rat when no one was watching. Traitors to the people!

  • this is treason aganst the us poeple

  • @greatgatsb9o921o Oh I like how you made that. Have nothing to do with any of this, but I like it a lot.

  • @RustyL121 BTW I'm not in denial. Like I said, I am part of the anti-war Left. Prior to examining the evidence, my assumption was that the Left was right, that the NDAA authorized arbitrary detention of American citizens without trial.

  • @RustyL121 "AUTHORITIES.—Nothing in this section shall be construed to affect existing law or authorities relating to the detention of United States citizens, lawful resident aliens of the United States, or any other persons who are captured or arrested in the United States."

    Could it be any clearer?

  • @killerboyfoolz First they came for the communists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.

  • @mojorhythm Read it. Made up my mind. Indefinite detention of American citizens is on the cards not matter how much you want to deny it. Why else would Levin be talking about how Obama admin asked the language which says US citizens are not subject to indefinite detention to be removed? You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure this out.

  • @RustyL121 Just read the bill--don't quote politicians. Don't even quote Glenn Greenwald, because he is way of base on this one. Read sections 1021-1022 yourself carefully and make up your own mind.

  • @mojorhythm “The language which precluded the application of Section 1031 to American citizens was in the bill that we originally approved…and the administration asked us to remove the language which says that U.S. citizens and lawful residents would not be subject to this section,” - Carl Levin, Chairman of the Armed Services Committee.

The Feinstein Amendment 1031(e) permits citizens to be imprisoned without evidence or a trial forever, if the Supreme Court does not EXPLICITLY repeal 1031.
