Part 2 of 2, Run time = 9:33
Teaching sample from ED 101 Educational Technology lab that meets requirements for K-12 teaching licensure. Undergraduate education majors take ED 101 in conjunction with their Introduction to Education course. In the lab, I facilitate undergraduate students' integration of web-based projects into K-8 lesson planning, managing technical elements of web design & development. I also emphasize the theoretical and practical applications of educational media & technology, specifically through the design of a customized website for students' cooperating teachers in K-8 field placements. This video is part one of two segments from a fifty-minute lesson where I teach students how to insert sound effects and customized Garage Band tracks into their educational web sites. We also discuss the educational purpose or benefits for integrating audio into web sites.
