No Special interest! None! Why do we need them? They are small groups that effect a majority of the country. If you want the government out of everything then don't you think you should take away the biggest influence on politicians? They're not going there with just a voice ALL special interest have money to buy.

can i just say about the size of government. its usually in proportion to the population. so. if you want a smaller government. kill yourself:) j/k but the fact remains, federal government is in control of 50odd states! now if you all seceded that would bring that problem right down. however, that would also mean big companies can wipe the floor with you. a double edged sword.

@wlchase Actually, the best way to end it and save our country is to do what our founders told us to do and that is to abolish any form of Government that's destructive to the liberties, rights and happiness of the people, who have the ultimate authority and power over the governments-not just at the voting booths-but any time. The people also have the authority and duty to revoke the authorities, powers, positions and titles of those in violations and institute new govt. by constitutional laws.
