I loved the early BETA stages from beta 1.2-beta 1.4 (before beds)

Then minecraft was all about survive and get torches for the night,

God I miss the OLD minecraft!

The feeling in alpha multiplayer, playing with very near friends, experiencing all new.. That feeling was so great..back then when minecraft had it's simple and perfect touch to it left!

Fuck the exp, ocelots, end, nether fortresses, etc! I have been playing in downgraded alpha since it went beta 1.6!

@EmmNMike You can turn smooth lighting off, and different tree types don't change anything. Also, what you said is just another example of being new. Obviously, you're less cautious now about putting your diamonds away because you've been playing longer. That experience will never come back. There's a program called MCNostalgia. I think you should give it a try. It allows you to downgrade to MC alpha. Play it, and tell me if you truly have all of those experiences again.

@GMFreaq No I miss the OLD minecraft as I said. Without smooth lighting, different tree types etc. Back then when I used to find diamonds I f**king freaked out know I just put then In a chest and continue...

@EmmNMike No you don't. You don't miss the old Minecraft. You miss the days when you were new to Minecraft.Getting torches and surviving the night? That's still in the game. The game hasn't changed for the worse. You don't have to do any of that. If anything, the game is a bit more challenging for adding hunger; the only actual game changing feature.

I wish people would stop complaining how minecraft sucks now. It really doesn't. Sure I prefer the old minecraft but get over yourselves. It really isn't that much different!!
