Notch 8 is the speed GO Transit run their MP40s. Same engine = same sound.

You want notch 8 ? Do you prefer 567's , ALCO, GE or Dash 8's and SD70's maybe even an SD40. I got the lot and they are all in Australia and quite a few are from the cab.

Sounded more like dynamic brakes in position 8. If it were notch 8 you'd see a lot more heat coming from the units.
