I wanted to show an example of how lame the officiating is in the NBA. Dwyane Wade is the perfect example of a player that makes a living off of really lame officiating. I don't blame him, it's not his fault that the NBA is officiated this way, he's just taking what they are giving him. For a lot of fans of basketball, this kind of thing ruins the game because it insults our intelligence. We know the rules, we know what you can and can't do. Yet, the calls are wildly inconsistent and can go either way at any given time. That's no fun. It ruins the game.

  • I'm not saying Kobe doesn't get it. But Kobe gets it the least of all the superstars. Wade actually makes his living doing this. Kobe makes his living making difficult shots. But besides Wade, Kobe, Lebron, my point is this is happening in all NBA games and there is no consistency. All you can do is wish for your favorite team to win. But there's no guarantee that the players actual skills determine the result of the game. And that's sad.

  • @superyou918 it just a mistake let it go beside there were a bunch of times wade didnt get the call when fouled

  • u can clearly see tht ron artest was NOT outside tha restricted area so thats a foul!!!! on the second play....thts jst a superstar call!!!KOBE GETS THEM ALL THA TIME!!!

  • You do realize Karl Malone earned 99.99% of his free throws with the Utah Jazz, right? He broke the record before he even became a Laker. I honestly don't see the point of this comment. Oh, wait, there was no point.

  • You can see the Kobe charge on O'neal here on youtube, just search for "lakers miami heat recap" and look at the first video, about the 0:50 mark. That's just as bad as the Fisher one but Kobe fans will never complain about it because they are used to their guy getting all of the calls (and probably believe him when he screams EVERY TIME he drives). Also, I don't know what the OP is talking about on the first play because that is definitely the correct call.

  • the superstars tend to get the majority of the calls because 1. they're the players handling the ball the majority of the game and 2. because they constantly attack the basket and LOOK for contact. TRY THIS, i bet most of u here are lakers fans. guess who has the most free throws all time. Karl Malone, thats right former laker. but he wasn't good or anything im guessing the refs just made him good by putting him on the line...NOT lol. see my point. so stop complaining and accept it for wut it is

  • I can't stand when people try to attribute officiating to the bias of ONE player. its completely ridiculous. basketball is technically not a contact sport, but in reality there is lots of contact this is why its such a hard sport to officiate. so the 2 "blown" calls that you give as an example in this video really don't suprise me at all. refs miss calls, it happens in every game, it's just how it is, as a player you can either learn your way to play around it..or complain and get nowhere.

  • i too agree kobe gets those calls...but not as much as dwhistle...LBJ doesn't even get those calls either. That DFish "foul" was crazy.

  • Dont forget, Mario Chalmers and his moving illegal screens all during the 4th quarter

  • Kobe does have some going his way. But the "offensive foul" you mentioned is not true. JO was moving to the left.

  • No, I think it's a charge. I'm just saying that Fisher is moving about the same as O'neal was when Kobe charged into him (we really need to see footage of that to debate it). Point being that superstars get away with this stuff all the time, and whether you think Kobe or Wade gets better treatment depends on who you are rooting for (for the record I am a Mavs fan so I hate them both).
