@1991PatMan "Palestine" had a chance for the 1947 borders in 1947 and they refused. As did the surrounding Arab states, or all Arab states for that matter. In fact they chose to attack Israel, with the goal of not defeating the Jews, but destroying them and cleansing the land of them. And they lost, miserably. Sorry, but they abdicated any right of claim to those borders. In '67 and '73 the Israelis were similary threatened. Peace is not what the Arabs TRULY want. That is demonstrable.

two state=ulster Ireland India Pakistan one state is the only solution is a Palestinian state with the Jewish population living there with arrangements that would allow them ist class citizen ship--I suspect it would involve economic levelling, and arrangements that would not permit european Jews from becoming a ruling class. That is it would be a Palestinian state with "forced brotherhood" until ia civil society could emerge i.e. Israelis would be Arabized (are they "Jewish" now?)
