Golden Kitties vs Brown Tree Snake (scaring the cats - so funny!)

Otto and Cala warily investigate a brown tree snake that we found in the house and subsequently killed and threw outside.

It is adorable and funny how scared they are.

This is a brown tree snake, it is not poisonous, and as you can tell from the blood and machete, has been critically and fatally weakened and it's jaw broken. Because it is pretty much dead, it shouldn't pose a threat to the cats, though we don't let this go on for long before we step in and finish it off.

@cygnarplayer only if you give it enough time to chew on it. their fangs are rarely strong enough to break through human skin and even then it's gotta chew down on you for a bit to envenomate. there were no small children around, and this particular snake is fatally wounded not to mention the cats owners were watching every move to make sure it didn't get out of hand. in fact, the second it looked like there was any fight left in the snake, we stopped it. so you've nothing to worry about.
