What can I say? - one of my favourite progressions is: ii-V-i >> Bmin7(b5)-E7-Am7 (7-3maj-6 if blagging in C Major), so I need to not use F#.

for that reason.! 5th of B always will be F#, does not concern the key.

If the key was in B then yes but the key is Cmaj/Aminor.
These are just taken from the naturally occuring diatonic notes.
