Excellent Swedish indie rock band. Singer Tobias Forge (aka Mary Goore aka Papa Emeritus I) also sings in the death metal band Repugnant and the occult heavy metal band Ghost.

This track is from Subvision's first and only album, "So Far So Noir", released in 2006.

  • 1:01 & 2:21 Ghost!!!

  • Wow, great observation!

That's the beauty of Ghost in my opinion. Put aside the occult overtly satanic themes and its great fucking music that could be appreciated by just about anyone. Ad the occult overtly satanic themes and you've got something extremely dynamic. Some of the harmonies are just fucking brilliant. Best debut I've ever witnessed.

  • @RiotLignarius Check out TID (Time Is Divine) which has some Subvision members. There are hints as to who the guitarists are if you know where to look. The drummer is a little trickier as the guy in Ghost has a very unique (open-handed) style. Another issue is the keyboardist and bass player have changed. The original guys are in another great Swedish metal band that is enjoying a good deal of success right now.

  • @checkthemdubs Absolutely, excellent album, best thing I've heard in years. reminds me of the early days of Mercyful Fate. The music, not the vocals. :-D

  • lol 1:43 Run To The Hills!

  • @RiotLignarius I know what you mean actually. We have to find live videos to see if they have the same drum kit and same position of cymbals and stuff.

  • Okay now we there are 5 Nameless Ghouls waiting to be identified haha

  • @RiotLignarius guitars (in particular solos) too, vocals too.Subvision are definitively Ghost!

  • you can even see the eyes are the same.

    HAIL GHOST!!

  • this song does have ghost like melodies in the chorus and i agree with the drumming being similar.....and i really do agree with checkthemdubs! that dood is spot on!

  • Some people suggested that Subvision = Ghost (although if that were the case they'd be short 2 members). I don't know about that but I think the drummer may be the same guy, the drumming style (use of toms and cymbals) sounds very similar.
