Hi Rebecca. Your video was awesome. It touched my heart. My granddaughter has Type 1Diabetes -- she'll be 8 years old in May; she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was four years old. As you said, our whole world changed too -- our family who loves and cares for Emily lived Diabetes! Our walk is on May 25 in Halifax, NS. I wish you all the best and good luck with all of your efforts and hang in there....you're a beautiful person!!!

I, this is Rebecca's mom. Thank you for the comment. Rebecca is going through the very tough teen years right now, denying the things she must do to stay healthy, fighting every day to fit in with kids her age. It breaks my heart. Hi Rebecca's Mom. This is Hailey's Mom Diane. As you know Hailey is the same age as Rebecca and was diagnosed when she was 9 also. Watching your video was like watching Hailey's life. The dance picture, beach picture, the sadness picture, parent by the bed to get that morning # it's all too familiar. I feel it gave Hailey a sense of not being alone with her diabetes. We can only keep trying and praying for a cure. Thanks for sharing, you do make a difference my friend. God bless.

A friend of mine who has a 9 yr old with type 1 diabetes told me to watch this, (it made her cry) and it sure makes me feel for you. I'll do all I can to come out and walk that day!

My daughter is really good friends with my friend's daughter and I'll be sure to show her your video and have her come and walk with me!
