It can be difficult to come out of the broom closet esp. in a small town but there will come a point when you dont care what people think. I am open about it if asked but I dont feel the need to draw attention to myself, I just dont hide it if asked. It will all work out. Blessed Be and good luck

If they haven't killed me, they shouldn't you. I have had to interview with the local paper when a local pastor attacked our religion in the local school. I brought three priestesses with me as back up. I live in rural Arkansas. It can be scary, but it is your right in America, use it or lose it. It is very scary when they say, "Suffer a witch not to live." I remind them "Judge not lest ye be judged." Although they sometimes claim exception from their own religion. 5 years here.

I live in the Bible Belt as well, and I am afraid to come out of the broom closet because i am afraid someone will hurt me or even worse...
