Soft metal plate like trophy plate anodized aluminium or lacquered brass can be engraved using FunTime software and Graphtec Craft ROBO

thank you we own a graphics business in hazard ky and were thinking about expanding and doing engraving we have a craft robo from when we started and we were looking in to engraving with it now we are just going to sell it

anybody who is thinking of getting one of these to do engraving, don't bother it wont work, iv been engraving for 15 years and you will never do it with one of them, i have got a craft robo for making my stencils and you will never get the pressure to engrave anything, all he has done in this video is scratch the paint off thats not engraving and its very misleading and it looks shit. GET AN ENGRAVING MACHINE

Where did you get the Dimond engraving bit used with the craft rodo? I would like to purchase on myself.

What model of Craft ROBO is this? I have looked at the media types that Craft ROBO can cut, and I haven't seen one that says it can do metal engraving...

Hi,
This is the CraftRobo CC100-20 first generation you can do similar work with the new model CC200-20 This is a diamond bit to scratch the metal surface like lacquered or anodized alumimum metal (trophy plate) Naturally Craft Robo is not an industrial cutter.

Diamond bit is a small diamond at the end of steel rod like a pen tip. Diamond scratch the anodized or paint surface similar trophy engraving.

Intresting...With what did you engrave? Surely not the knife? Its a pitty not more info is given on this video.

Hi,
This engrave small plate like trophy plate, scratching the metal surface and use the diamond bit. This video show a Craft ROBO engraving a 2 x 4 inches alumimum plate.
