I own a WHII stato with 20" chromies, and my next car will be an FG, just because I personally think they look/feel/drive better.
-
This is why ford Australia fail. They show 35 seconds of bullshit, in this case fingers jumping around the place and 5 seconds of the actual car.

@andeejam No seriously the ad misses the mark on an epic level. Even Benz and BMW show a bit more masculinity when pitching the big saloons, no wife wants a wussy husband, they want an alpha male mobile when it come to family salooning.
The ad is utter arty farty clap trap, no wonder it was a slow seller at first. The VE ad had Super Bogan Dad doing sharp cornering with his son in the safety seat, and that hump of a thing launched into the record books when it launched

Ford ads are always bad

tl;dr People don't give a shit about what the car is like is anymore in an advert, just what the ad portrays.
-
Nowadays its not just the car but the music and the pictures and the short story that goes along with the ad that are sapposed to build brand awareness and identity and a sense in this advert for example that the Falcon is apart of everyday life. Its a family car. The car is apart of the family. Its hard to explain but I study adverts.
-
But its not
-
it should be
-
i love fords, but this add shows nothing good about the car lol, please ford get better ideas than the same country road, look at the falcon xe 1980s commercial, its got like the same road
-
In a word, no.
Then you clearly haven't seen the "All-New Australian-Designed" VE Commodore.
The FG has superior handling, interior, 6-cylinder engine, transmission, and looks way, way classier than the VE, which to me is just a modern-day plastic pig.
You're just a moronic one-eyed Holden bogan who just follows Holden for the hell of it.
For the record, I drive a VTII and I like it, so I am not biased. I actually have a brain that looks at both sides of the argument.

the ad is fine, 90 % of people buying this car are normal families, we are not all bogans.
