So much has been said about Makybe Diva (and rightfully so)... but she really had nothing on Let's Elope. At her best, on a dry track over 10-14F she was unbeatable. Especially considering some of the horses around at that time: Super Impose, Naturalism, Prince Salieri, Dr Grace, Better Loosen Up, Ivory Way, Campaign King, Chiva's Revenge... what an era in Australian racing.

First saw her run in the McKinnon Stakes. must of watched that race at least a dozen times.
