@InfiniteMischief Acually, if we used silver as currency, it would also be subject to inflation. Most silver is used for industrial applications, therefor, in an expanding economy, more indusrial activty would lead to a shortage of silver, thus resulting in inflation. Much the same way growing corn for ethonol reduces the amount of acres that can be used to grow food corn (you can't eat the ethonol corn), thus resulting in higher prices for food stuffs.

@BankofSpirit Have you ever been to a farm? You probably live in a large city...are you even American. My uncle owns a large farm, it's a dairy/crop farm. Also my brother works for the dept. of aggriculture.
