Separating puli cords or dreadlocks

This is how you separate dreadlocks on a corded dog. This is a puli with pencil locks, but you do the same on the komondor, except you'd leave wider, ribbon-like cords.

how long does it take to do this for the entire coat?

@Kimbereli09 we go through the cords each time after bathing them :) it takes maybe half hr to an hour.

Most puli owners here in Hungary don't care about brushing. :)

Now, that pulis are becoming more wellknown abroads, and a lot of people keep them in apartments here in Hungarian cities too, they brush them and stuff, but here at the countryside almost all are unbrushed rastafari pulis. (((: It only metters in the case of show dogs. Also, there are specimens that somehow aren't developing too much cords and are more fluffy. :) But most of them grow cords if unbrushed.
