yes, the only bad part about it is that it is the very reason the show got cancelled...because it became too serious...f#$%ing adult swim killed my favorite show...

@11pinrelay Hahah~
>make irrelevant post
>complain about lack of relevance in response
>demand greater attention by doubling-down on Ad-Homs
Do I have anything to say to an angry little man on the internet who can't defend his views, but is outraged by the thought of other people holding different views? Hm, let me think... Ah, yes. I do. Grow up. :D

@SuperNegativeCreep Do you have ANYTHING to say? Anything at all, you herd animal trendy?
-
@11pinrelay Aw, that's an adorable attempt at character assassination. Keep practicing, you'll get good at it someday! :3
But I'm pretty sure we were talking about Moral Orel, not the absurd notion me you've convinced yourself of based, on the few sentences you know of me. Just a note for you, calling me vapid then arguing 'doesn't agree with me? must be brain-washed!' comes off as being a little silly. ^w^

@falsefortuneteller Can't you do anything but label? It was chiaroscuro. They gave him a maudlin backstory (as they did everyone in the 3rd season) then demonized the living shite out of him. No one else shot his son and blamed him for it. You've also been conditioned to look past the obvious. The simplest explanation is usually the correct one. -- Occam's Razor -- That should be your starting point, THEN pull all that silly "contextualization" out your arse as talking points.

@11pinrelay did you completely miss the 3rd season or are you just retarded? the entire third season was devoted to humanizing clay, to explain why he was the bastard he was. it did this to everyone. by the end of the show clay's a broken man begging for attention and violence, as thats the only way he got affection.
you don't have to like the show, but saying that its just about "whitelandia" and clay's just a "monster" just sorta shows you glanced through the show and went "DUUUUUUMB"

@SuperNegativeCreep You're more of a caricature than Clay Puppington, Hoss. No blame shoved on White dads on televitz, absolutely not.
"...deeper examination that exists without judgment."
Unflinching in your trendy vapidity you are. It's still the best show on tv, but that's like being the valedictorian at summer school.
You're the Moral Orel demo personified: a intelligent enough person conditioned to look past the obvious...who never disappoints.

@11pinrelay But feel free to act out your little proxy-victimization routine on the internet; it's interesting to watch you being offended on the behalf of a drunken, homosexual who shot his kid. ;)
-
@11pinrelay You weren't paying very close attention. The 3rd Season is when the stories came full circle and it becomes clear that the show was not just a 'Haha Gotcha' at 'whitelandia', but a deeper examination that exists without judgment. Clay isn't a monster, but does monstrous things because that is how he learned to cope with the world after his mother died. That's why it's great; while it is unflinching in it's criticism, it does not shove blame.
