yes, but dino ended it so well. i think US tv sometimes wrings the living death out of an idea or concept. a series in the US has 16-24 episodes, right? here in the UK we have 6-8 eps. and often the writers feel a concept is played out after the 4th series and want to write something different. but in the US , like 'friends' [puke], went on forever. the characters i liked in the 1-4th series i despised after. i hated them. so chewed up.

Can't you do anything but label? It was chiaroscuro. They gave him a maudlin backstory (as they did everyone in the 3rd season) then demonized the living shite out of him. No one else shot his son and blamed him for it. You've also been conditioned to look past the obvious. The simplest explanation is usually the correct one. -- Occam's Razor -- That should be your starting point, THEN pull all that silly "contextualization" out your arse as talking points.
