Any channel that showed Star Wars, Star Trek, BttF Aliens, Twilight Zone, Quantuam Leap, and alot of horror movies regularly was a badass channel. Imagine if they kept all that and added Lord of the Rings and any new sci fi/ fantasy. Would have been every nerds dream world. We would have never seen the light of day again.

@AnbusKi The channel must have been really great back then. I mean, the only reason why I watched "syfy" was for the ani-monday block. But now that's off, there's no point watching the network, or at least it feels that way to me.

Sci-fi channel needs to go back to the way they were back then, it totally sucks now with their crappy reality shows and lousy cheap original movies.

Sci-fi not that fucking "syfy" nonsense abandoned their core audience after claiming they wanted to attract more "human like" viewers to their network which was basically a big "fuck you!" to their fan base.
