favorite track it so freash and clean. i remeber playing this with bumping my music. even dream about it. playing 90s stuff like the one go deep song. dark light with poster. all high and shit lol.

Yeah, but you lose a lot of speed there and you'll end up being 10-15 seconds slower at the end of the lap. ;)

Against the not very challenging computer players I suppose? ;) I always take the long route so you can race at top speed from the boardwalk until the finish.

How come "central" doesn't respond to the cops? Usually a woman responds by saying something like "All units, unit 34 in pursuit of a silver diablo near the civic centre"

The sound system of NFS3 'abuses' the stereo capabilities of the soundcard to play many sounds at the same time. The voices from the cop's are played through the left speaker and the voice from Central through the left. Engine sounds & music is played via both channels. This way only 3 or 4 sounds are played via each channel which was doable without static or lag on the soundcards from that time. :)
Fraps records only 1 channel by default, so the responses from Central are not recorded.
