  • This is very well sung, but I get no feeling from it -- no real sense of what the words are about. IMO, this is a psalm for musicians, in which Batten in celebrating the fact that the God of Jacob not only _likes_ us to sing and play instruments -- He's made it a law! How cool is that ?! ;-) And we're to play them JOYFULLY. I don't hear enough joy in this performance. Otherwise, it's perfect -- but without the joy, what's the point?

  • Fun to have opportunity to follow along with the vocal parts - don't have the right time and place to be in choir right now and this was a nice hint at a substitute. Thanks!
