With the 4th selection in the 2011 NHL Draft, Devils select from the Sweedish Elite League, Adam Larsson.

@soccordude120 i agree with u on those other picks, however this is easily the steal of the draft because of what kind of player he will become. He is a stud of a dman and is going to be a great player. Although i would agree on Saad being an equal steal of the draft aswell because of how late CHI got him.

@soccerdude120: Well....so did Scheifele, but I don't think making the opening line-up is evidence enough of being a steal. From what I've seen in the 2 games, Larsson is pretty good and very smart and mature for his age.

@JimSpires09 im not sure, while this is a steal , there are a couple i think so far i think who could be the steal of the Draft

1.Brandon Saad: he made Chicago's opening line up . picked in the second round

2. Ryan Murphey: 12th overall made the Canes opening line up.

3. Sean Coutrier: 8th overall

so not really the steal of the draft.
