  • i went to the gun shop today and priced 20 factory rounds at $175 Australian dollars that equals to $8.75 for one round! dam expensive to shoot that caliber.

  • yep, its spendy, but well worth it.

  • Where did you go haha.. South Western Sydney's got some relatively cheap ones...

  • I never put cheap ammo through my expensive firearms.

I only put cheap ammo through my mosin nagants

  • every white citizen of the world should be armed with a .338 to defend themselves and their families from minority crime

  • As much as I agree with you, I would also have to disagree. .338 ammo is too costly and limited.

anything that shoots .223 for close range and .308's for mid range would be better, especially in semi-auto, or better yet full auto.

  • The .338 is a purpose built anti personal military round fire this at a bear itll go right through and on to whatevers behind it and with the right rifle it can hit ranges normally seen with a .50 cal rifle

  • @kenny01622 Longest HIT, the longest KILL goes to a Canadian sniper Rob Furlong.

  • @Mchermsquatch Yeh its a phenomenal medium range anti personnel round but thats not what the ,338 Lapua round is meant for, its used to kill targets at much greater distances, for example it was used by a British guy to take out two insurgents from over 1.5 miles away which could never be achieved with the 7.62, so u cant say its not a useful round as the British have been making great use of it in Iraq achieving confirmed kills from insane distances

  • @kenny01622

No doubt that the .338 Lapua is a great round. I just see a lot of dipsticks knocking the 7.62x51mm (.308 ) It is a phenomenal medium range anti personel round. You can not fire a .338 Lapua at an under fed Iraqi man in a crowded area and not kill the 5 guys behind him. You can do that with the .308.

  • @Mchermsquatch But to be fair the .338 has been chosen by the Brits and the longest ever kill was achieved with this round buy a British guy so there must be some truth to this.

  • @OKPatriot92 Its the chosen round of British snipers with the introduction of a new rifle to Uk forces.

  • @Gbangerboy Yep the longest ever confirmed kill was with a .338 from a British sniper, though .50 cal are more useful for shooting people behind coer.

  • @TotenKopfKrieger Yeh lets fire this in ur house and you will kill ur own family lol a shotgun is what u want for home defense

  • HEADSHOT

  • @JaKeth3snake yes, some branches of the us military fire the .338 lapua, however the .308 and .50 BMG are more commonly fired.

  • @UserNamei5 Doesn't the US army use the .338? I remember my dads friend shooting a grouse with one lol
