On Saturday July 4th 2009, the Hastings DEMU 1001 went on a return trip to Nottingham with the Midland Forester railtour. In this video, we see the tour arriving at Hastings railway station from St. Leonards Depot where the unit is kept, and then departing towards Tonbridge with the tour itself.

Excellent Video I would like to go on some heritage rail tours but I don't know when they run or how to book tickets I would like to go on these trains 4cep 4vep 4epb 4dd 4sub 4cor Thumper Hastings DEMU Do you know if there are any of these running any where or heritage rail tours

You can ride on a class 421 on the line between Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier. It's run by South West Trains.

The next Hastings Unit tour will be on October 3rd.
