I'm sorry, but I don't understand your comment. Do you mean to say that they really aren't moving that fast? If that's the issue, you really haven't seen enough people playing chess. Look up Nakamura and see the speed demon at work. I posted the video because its an interesting endgame where neither side has much time and Davorin could have had perpetual at almost anytime before Qxa6. Then it's simply awesome how Sal finishes the mate before either side runs out of time.

Respect for the game comes through hard work, not memorizing entertaining historical data. You think Chris Paul gives a damn about Tiny Archibald or whichever historical NBA figure the media compare him to? No, he's much more focused on working hard to become the best player he can be, and that's what fuels his passion and appreciation for basketball. That's what it boils down to in every sport/game. I think many amateurs have trouble realizing that because they simply don't know any better.

Chess is different and I truely believe that those who don't care for its history and getting information about who the best players throughout history have been should not get anywhere close to this game, when it comes to basketball, I don't care if you are Kobe braynt if you don't care for the history of the game I don't care about any of your skills, you are just a disrespectful element to me
