The discrimination is always wrong, it doesn't matter the size but the problem is that the 90% of the food is shit and we don't really know what we eat... te exercise is always a good way to stay fit and to burn calories.

Im sure genes are a significant contributor to weight, but the most important thing parents pass on to their children is their lifestyles, eating habits and attitudes towards physical activity.

They laughed when I told them I would melt fat with Fat Blast Blueprint, but then I showed them the results. Go and google Fat Blast Blueprint to see their reaction. (You should see their shock!)

Given the fact that thousands of overweight people are changing their diet to a more paleo low carb approach and loosing fat very easily, it's seems to me it's the junk processed food that people live on that causes the obesity in the first place. Parents that are fat living on soda, cookies and chips feed the same crap to their fat kids. That's why their fat. Some just gain fat easier than others. Eat low carb and real so your body corrects itself and it's genes.

@NightinGal89 Its not our genes fault to become obese but it does control how much fat we carry arround. I remember when I was younger I used to be very fat because of my lifestyle and over consumption of unhealthy food, but when I started eating healthy and being active I gained alot of muscle and lost considerable ammount of fat . So although my genetics allowed me to gain alot of fat changing my lifestyle helped me be healthy and drop my body fat to around 9-10%.

Now I'm going on 24 and weigh 170 at 5'2, planning to change my lifestyle for good. It's really not healthy to think you can blame it on genes.

My 4 grandparents minus one(diet-obssessed grandfather) were obese, but they all had a tendency to eat for pleasure and ate way more than they needed to.

I grew up being overweight. at 8 I already weighed 115 lbs, and at 14, 5'2 and 160 lbs, went on a diet/exercise regime and got down to a normal bmi of 23 which I maintained for over a year, until I became depressed and started gaining weight again.

I don't really buy into the genetic thing. My parents wrre both obese by the time I was born, my sister was also overweight as a child, but later managed to control her weight and is now, at 37 at a normal BMI of 24.
