I first heard this song played in a middle of a set of tunes by none other then Buddy McMaster at a pub (Red Boot?) in Cape Breton. I was unable to speak with him afterward so I was left wondering what is the name of that air in the middle?!!!!
It took a couple of years for me to actually track the name of it -- needless to say I was captured it. You do a lovely job of it here.
I'm using your rendition to learn it for the mandolin -- thanks so much for posting!
