  • Anyone can tell this is live. They still sound great if you could hear them over the ridiculously loud band. RIP Gordon

  • @Okiemom50 Sorry for the sound quality. I was seated up front near one of the monitor speakers for the band, so my camera microphone picked up the instruments over the vocals. The mix the audience heard was actually quite good and balanced.

  • Well...they didn't do as bad in this one as the other. Gone are the times of lip sinking.

  • What is "the other" that this one is not as bad as? And what is your "lip sinking " reference? Do you mean lip-synching? This, as well as all of my videos are shot live. Often when a video is uploaded to youtube, the synchronization between sound and video is degraded.

  • Awesome song, Buddy Holly was a great song writer. I can't even imagine what he would have written if he had a longer life. His songs still sound fresh to this day.

  • wow....way good after all these years...one of my favorite songs!!

  • These guys did a great cover back in the daysand still could cover it after all those years.

  • Great song and just awesome performance by Peter & Gordon. RIP Gordon. You will be sorely missed by many.

  • @gregorylee888 What could you possibly not understand about true love ways? When someone loves you, the way they treat you, shows their love for you.

  • I like their voices at this stage of their lives than when they were young and in their heyday. Their voices are richer. Thanks for this post.

  • Waller died on July 17, 2009, at the age of 64.

  • "Decade of American Male Hope" et al.

  • I sure remember this song which was released in 1965. It was a few weeks before my 14th birthday. If I remember correctly, the song went straight to No. 2 on the British chart (it was called Hit Parade then). I don't think it reached No. 1 though. (I stand corrected). It was through this song that I learnt about the talented Buddy Holly, the great song writer. RIP Buddy and Gordon.

  • This is my favorite slow dance song of all times!!! And now I get to dance to it with a wonderful man whom I reconnected with in July at a 40th high school reunion!!!
