I remember when they came to London Ontario a few years back. Tour bus pulls up, and you see Eddie come out. There was a handful, and you guys might think i'm bullshitting, but Ed pulls out a marker and piece of paper from his suitcase and says "What do you guys wanna hear tonight"? The 20 of us looked in disbelief, and I remember shouting "in my tree!" he looked surprised and scribbled something down....later at the show, they played it...as if they played it just for me...amazing moment

wow I met matt cameron at disneyland with his family, really nice guy. I told him he was the greatest drummer he gave me pat on the shoulder and said "thanks man"...i then ran away like a little girl.
I forgot tell him how he was the one who inspired me to play the drums.
every drummer should look into matt c. his technique is flawless.

I'm not a drummer, but Matt Cameron made me stop and listen to the drumming on tracks. He's phenominal.

Matt Cameron is incredible, but let's not forget Jack Irons came up with this groove. The 2 albums Irons made with Pearl Jam are definitely my favorite era of the band.

@bigsmooth50 The 2000 tour is the only time i can ever remember Matt wearing gloves, he did at several times throughout the tour (and the pinkpop concert if i remember correctly) maybe its to health related?

@bigsmooth50 well, i've seen plenty of drummers without gloves and most of them have blisters on their hands because they don't wear gloves

i just hate when drummers wear gloves, nathan followill from kings of leon just starting wearing them. looks stupid, but i love matt cameron's style
