Even when Steve didn't have his memory and was calling himself Nick he was very protective of Kayla and didn't want to see her in pain.

@mcoordinator he was supposedly taken by Lawerance Alamain and somehow ended up in Dimera custody where they "erased" his memory and then dropped him in Cincinati with little to no ID other than the name Nick Stockton....Jack ended up in the Hospice and Steve(Nick) was working there and helping Jack...Jack persuaded him to take a DNA test and the rest is history

Still love watching S/K.. in the old days.. we had to pray our VCR worked.. then Edit the show..
NOw we can just watch here.. isn't life great! Of course.. I still have the tapes.. and the dvds.. and the computer files.. some things you just can't have enough of.

They're showing us episodes from late September or early October 2006 if I'm right. (: So in practice I still have few years watching left.

I'm 17 and I truly enjoy of all the supercouples. J&M is my favourite (I've watched all the storylines on youtube (+ made montages of my own) and fallen in love with the couple) but right after them come Steve&Kayla, Jack&Jennifer, Kim&Shane, Bo&Hope.
It's a pity the writing team never realized the talents they were having- and now it's too late because only Bope is left of them. I'm so sorry that Days ain't Days anymore. I will stop watching the show when J&M leave Days here in Finland :((

I'm glad. It was and still is something special. You probably have a much better attention span than I did as a teenager (smile). I remembered they had this amazing "chemistry " but I never fully realised what phenomenal actors they were.
